Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing logistics, ensuring accurate documentation, and adhering to safety regulations. The Dispatch Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering products on time and in good condition.

Plan and schedule daily dispatch activities based on production schedules and DA.
Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely availability of finished goods.
Arrange transportation and coordinate with logistics providers.
Prepare dispatch documents, including invoices, packing lists, and delivery challans.
Ensure proper packaging and labelling of finished goods for dispatch.
Supervise the loading of finished goods onto transport vehicles.
Track shipments and monitor delivery status.
Resolve any transportation issues or delays.
Optimize transportation routes and costs.
Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including dispatch logs, delivery confirmations, and return authorizations.
Ensure all dispatch documents are complete and accurate.
Prepare reports on dispatch performance, including on-time delivery rates and shipping costs.
Coordinate with the production team regarding the availability of finished goods for dispatch.
Ensure safe loading and handling of finished goods.
Maintain a clean and organized dispatch area.

Ensure proper stock rotation and minimize expiry of stocks
