Job Description

You are a motivated and detail-oriented Dispatch Executive responsible for overseeing the timely dispatch of garments, maintaining accurate inventory of finished goods, managing courier operations (including returns), and handling client claims efficiently. Previous experience in an export house and working knowledge of e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce is preferred. Your key responsibilities include coordinating with warehouse and packing teams to ensure timely dispatch of ready garments, verifying correct quantities, sizes, and styles packed as per buyer requirements, ensuring accurate labeling and shipping documentation for each dispatch, scheduling pickups with logistics partners and courier agencies, and ensuring all shipments comply with buyer instructions and international shipping regulations. You will maintain accurate inventory of finished goods using internal systems, tag and organize garments by order number, size, and style for easy identification, perform regular physical stock audits, reconcile with system records, share inventory status with senior management, highlighting slow-moving or excess stock, and implement the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method for dispatches. Additionally, you will record customer complaints related to delivery delays, product shortages, or damages, collaborate with QC, production, and packing teams to investigate and resolve issues, prepare claim reports with photographic evidence and necessary documentation, coordinate with internal and external teams for timely claim closures, and recommend and implement corrective measures to avoid recurring issues. You will manage both outbound and return shipments via courier partners, monitor courier performance on delivery timelines, cost efficiency, and damage/loss cases, coordinate with customers for return pickups, ensure timely inward processing, maintain tracking records, update clients with real-time delivery status, and resolve courier-related issues, including delays and lost shipments. Experience of 3 years in dispatch and inventory roles within a garments export house is required. Familiarity with export procedures, documentation, and courier logistics is essential. Working knowledge of e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce is an added advantage. Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
