As a Director of Technical Program Management for Cross Border Services, your main responsibility is to lead the evolution of software products and their implementation in various markets. You will be guiding and mentoring a team of engineers, challenging the status quo, and driving the technology roadmap to ensure maximum utilization of technology. **Key Responsibilities:** - Embrace Lean Management behaviors and help teams adopt agile processes like Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming. - Support multiple teams in implementing agile rules and maintaining quality standards. - Facilitate team collaboration and challenge traditional development norms to enhance performance. - Align multiple teams' backlogs and solutions to enable synchronization and integration. - Collaborate closely with product management to maintain a healthy backlog. - Identify and eliminate blockers to ensure smooth execution and delivery of outcomes. - Drive continuous improvements and streamline processes to enhance delivery efficiency. - Maintain transparent backlogs as a source of truth for project status. - Understand business strategy and design approaches within the product domain. - Keep updated on evolving technology landscape and evaluate design strengths and weaknesses. - Communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders to ensure clear instructions and expectations. - Work with limited guidance and drive agile ceremonies for predictable delivery patterns. - Collaborate with external technology providers and support implementation plans. - Review metrics regularly to ensure program alignment with organizational objectives. - Play an active role in mentoring and recruiting team members. **Qualifications Required:** - Proficiency in agile delivery using Lean Product Management, Lean Management, and DevOps practices. - Experience in managing agile processes, including grooming, planning, prioritization, and retrospectives. - Ability to anticipate and address bottlenecks, risks, and dependencies using agile practices. - Strong understanding of product development and software development lifecycles. - Familiarity with agile and modern SDLC practices such as Scrum, Kanban, Continuous Delivery, DevOps, and Quality Engineering. - Previous experience in conducting product demos and coordinating with product owners. - Background in software engineering or product management.
