Director Strategic Sourcing

Role Overview: As the Director of Strategic Sourcing and Contracting, you will lead a global team in developing and executing sourcing strategies, negotiating complex contracts, and managing contract lifecycles to drive sustainable value and mitigate risks. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, overseeing supplier performance and innovation, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development of enterprise-wide sourcing strategies for key spend categories. - Partner with business leaders to align sourcing initiatives with demand forecasts and organizational objectives. - Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking to make informed sourcing decisions and manage risks effectively. - Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and renewal of commercial and vendor contracts. - Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and business units to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. - Standardize templates, clauses, and negotiation playbooks to enhance consistency and efficiency. - Act as a senior escalation point for complex and high-risk agreements. - Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with global key suppliers and partners. - Develop governance models and performance scorecards to ensure supplier accountability and drive continuous improvement. - Drive supplier innovation, ESG/sustainability goals, and risk mitigation strategies. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field (MBA or JD preferred). - At least 18 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, category management, and contracting within a complex, global environment. - Proven track record of leading large-scale sourcing initiatives and high-value negotiations. - In-depth knowledge of contract law, procurement compliance, and global supplier landscapes.,
