Director of Restaurants

As the Restaurant Manager at The St. Regis Mumbai, your role involves managing all restaurant operations and staff on a daily basis, including Restaurants/Bars and Room Service. Your responsibilities include: - Estimating food, liquor, wine, and other beverage consumption to anticipate amounts needed - Facilitating pre-meal briefings with the Chef and Restaurant Managers to educate restaurant staff on menu items - Maintaining service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar/lounge, and room service areas - Ordering and purchasing equipment and supplies - Overseeing booking and managing service of restaurant parties, special events, and room service hospitality suites To qualify for this position, you should have a high school diploma or GED with 6 years of experience in the food and beverage, culinary, event management, or a related professional area, or a 2-year degree from an accredited university in relevant majors with 4 years of experience. Your skills and knowledge should include customer and personal service, economics and accounting, analytical/critical thinking, management of financial resources, administration and management, applied business knowledge, food production and presentation, and management of material resources.
