The Role

Were looking for a Director of Design to own and scale BeFiScs design function end-to-end. From leading product experience to defining brand identity and building a high-performing design team, youll be at the core of how BeFiSc looks, feels, and communicates trust.

This is a leadership role with direct collaboration with the CEO, product, and tech teams.

What you will Do

• Define the Design Vision: Establish BeFiScs design principles across product, brand, and experience.
• Scale the Team: Build, mentor, and lead designers across product design, marketing, and motion.
• Craft Intuitive Products: Simplify KYC, KYB, fraud detection, and compliance workflows into clear, usable product experiences.
• Brand Leadership: Ensure our design identity is consistent across digital, print, and events.
• Design Ops: Set up scalable design systems, processes, and workflows that enable speed with consistency.
• Cross-Functional Impact: Work closely with engineering, product, and growth to align design with business priorities.
• Global Benchmarking: Bring best practices from enterprise SaaS, fintech, and API-driven products to BeFiSc.

What we are Looking for

• 10+ years in product/brand design, with 4+ years in a leadership role.
• A degree in a visual or experiential design discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven track record of scaling design teams in fast-moving startups or tech-first companies.
• A solid grasp of art history, design history, photography and the visual arts, pop culture, design philosophies and counterculture, fluency in current technology, politics, and a deep understanding of the zeitgeist of social tastes and current affairs.
• Portfolio showcasing enterprise SaaS or fintech/regtech product design + brand systems.
• Deep experience building design systems and managing end-to-end design operations.
• Strong leadership skills: mentoring designers, collaborating with execs, and aligning design with strategy.
• Balance of vision and execution you can set strategy, but also roll up your sleeves when needed.
• Passion for making trust visible through design.
