Director of Community & Partnerships

If you want to build real partnership, outreach, and ecosystem-building experience in the sustainability spacethis role gives you a leadership seat at the table.

What You'll Do

Partnerships & Outreach

• Identify and build strategic partnerships with NGOs, foundations, universities, and corporates
• Create proposals, negotiate collaboration terms, and manage 2030 partner relationships
• Build 35 formal partnerships per quarter

Media & Press Relations

• Build relationships with journalists and climate/sustainability media
• Pitch stories and secure 23 media mentions monthly
• Coordinate expert access and track earned media coverage

Expert Network & Contributors

• Recruit and manage a network of 50+ sustainability experts, researchers, and practitioners
• Facilitate interviews, guest articles, and knowledge-sharing opportunities

Community & Events

• Plan quarterly community strategy
• Execute 12 events per month (webinars, workshops, meetups)
• Build peer-to-peer engagement within The rb's community

Creator & Influencer Collaborations

• Identify aligned micro-influencers (10K100K)
• Pitch collaborations, negotiate, brief creators, and track campaign results

Team Leadership

• Recruit and manage coordinators, community managers, and interns
• Lead weekly meetings and set KPIs
• Build mentorship plans and guide team performance

Who We're Looking For

Essential Experience

• Partnership development / relationship management (professional or project-based)
• Strong networking, communication, and stakeholder management
• Understanding of the sustainability/NGO landscape (India preferred)
• Media relations, PR, or business development experience (preferred)
• Leadership experience (formal or informal)

Nice to Have

• Experience in India's NGO/impact sector
• Existing relationships with NGOs/media
