Role Overview: As the Director General (Head of the Institute) at KIET Group of Institutions (Autonomous), you will be responsible for leading the institute towards national and international recognition in the competitive niche. Your role will involve conceptualizing, planning, and designing novel strategies to elevate the institute to the next level. Key Responsibilities: - Setting up mini-industries on campus or collaborating with local industries for skill enhancement - Establishing research and development labs in multidisciplinary areas - Fostering quality international collaborations - Enhancing placement opportunities - Raising the institute's visibility and recognition globally Qualifications Required: - High academic credentials from a reputable institute, including a B.E./B.Tech & ME/M.Tech & PhD with consistent first-class performance - Post-PhD publications and experience in guiding PhD students will be highly desirable - Minimum of 20 years of experience in academia, research, and industrial roles - Proven track record as an academic leader in a reputed autonomous institute or university - Ability to implement best international education practices, SMART teaching & learning methods, and align with India's vision for higher education Additional Company Details: N/A,
