Director Food & Beverage

As the strategic business leader of the food and beverage/culinary operation at Courtyard Mumbai International Airport, your responsibilities will include overseeing Restaurants/Bars, Room Service, and Banquets/Catering. You will develop and implement departmental strategies to ensure the brand service strategy and initiatives are met. Your role will focus on meeting the brand's target customer needs, enhancing employee satisfaction, and driving revenue growth while maximizing financial performance. To qualify for this position, you should have a high school diploma or GED with 6 years of experience in the food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related field. Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major with 4 years of relevant experience is also acceptable. Your core responsibilities will include setting and maintaining food and beverage/culinary goals, managing budgets effectively, leading the food and beverage team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and conducting human resource activities. You will be expected to provide excellent customer service, identify areas of improvement based on guest feedback, and introduce new food and beverage products to meet customer expectations. Additionally, you will be responsible for informing executives, peers, and subordinates of relevant information in a timely manner, providing guidance and direction to subordinates, and analyzing information to solve problems effectively. You will also need to estimate food and beverage consumption, order supplies, and purchase equipment as needed.
