Director - Digital Data and Analytics

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Strong leadership of in business teams in Digital and Data supporting the transformation efforts underpinning the GTB strategy.
• Day to day oversight and management of the teams reporting directly to the head of the DDnA function.
• Collaborate with Accountable Execs and leaders across the business in Corporate Banking (UK and International) and Global Transaction Banking functions to improve ways of working and ensure interdependencies across initiatives and programmes are well managed.

Accountable for the delivery and ownership of key strategic initiatives across the digital and data agenda.

To lead all in-business teams across the India region supporting the Digital, Data and Analytics agenda. Accountable for driving business and client value delivering key strategic initiatives across our digital and data strategy, our pivot towards a customer journey led approach and unlocking high quality business capabilities used by customers, clients and colleagues.

Key Accountabilities[Mix of BCP product owner and head of data job profiles]

• Alignment of Propositional and Commercial outcomes to the wider Business Agenda and Strategy and ratifies the Benefits Cases from both a cost to deliver and achievability perspective.
• Prioritisation and management of the digital and data backlog of requirements both at Journey/capability level and within the scope of the defined Projects/Releases.
• Planning of show & tell sessions, engagement with stakeholders throughout the development process.
• Definition and oversight of digital and data governance and procedures, and data analytics and insights to address control and regulatory requirements, including Data Privacy
• Analysis of the bank's current data landscape, identify key data assets and gaps, and develop a roadmap for future data initiatives.
• Development of a team of digital and data professionals with expertise in digital product ownership, data analytics, data science, and other relevant disciplines.
• Monitoring team performance and setting clear performance expectations.
