Job Description

What Youll Do

  • Set the vision:

    Define design strategy, quality standards, and a roadmap tied to business goals.

  • Build the team:

    Hire, coach, and grow a high-performing team of designers and researchers.

  • Champion design:

    Evangelize design thinking and user-first practices across the company.

  • Establish systems:

    Build and roll out design systems (tokens, theming, accessibility, governance).

  • Drive research & insights:

    Lead customer interviews, workshops, and usability testing to guide product direction.

  • Partner cross-functionally:

    Collaborate with PM, Engineering, Data, AI, and Customer Success on discovery, experimentation, and release quality.

  • Deliver outcomes:

    Connect design work to metrics like adoption, retention, NPS/CSAT, and revenue impact.

  • Communicate with impact:

    Share strategy and results with executives and customers.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years in product design, with 3–5+ years leading SaaS (B2B preferred)
  • Proven experience building data-dense, workflow-heavy products and design systems at scale.
  • Strong user research background — comfortable leading interviews, contextual inquiries, and workshops.
  • Skilled in aligning design with adoption and behavior change strategies.
  • Track record mentoring design talent and collaborating closely with product and engineering.
  • Excellent communicator and storyteller, comfortable with executive and customer audiences.
  • Bonus: Experience with AI/agentic design patterns, enterprise compliance, and multi-brand/theming.
