Director – Curriculum

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Design & Development

  • Design, review, and enhance curriculum content across all grades (K–12) in alignment with CBSE standards.
  • Integrate modern pedagogical approaches, experiential learning, and skill-based education.
  • Develop annual academic plans, learning outcomes, and assessment frameworks.

2. Academic Leadership

  • Provide strategic direction to the academic and curriculum development teams.
  • Lead the team of subject coordinators, instructional designers, and academic mentors.
  • Ensure consistent academic delivery and performance across all branches.

3. Teacher Training & Capacity Building

  • Design and conduct professional development programs for teachers and academic coordinators.
  • Develop resource materials, training manuals, and teacher handbooks.
  • Evaluate teaching methodologies and introduce best practices in pedagogy.

4. Quality Assurance & Evaluation

  • Monitor academic implementation across schools through regular audits and feedback mechanisms.
  • Set academic benchmarks and ensure continuous improvement in student outcomes.
  • Coordinate internal academic reviews, inspections, and performance reports.

5. Innovation & Curriculum Integration

  • Introduce technology-driven and interdisciplinary learning methodologies.
  • Incorporate NEP 2020 recommendations and 21st-century skill development into the curriculum.
  • Collaborate with external education experts and institutions for academic innovation.

6. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Principals, Academic Heads, and Department Coordinators to ensure cohesive implementation.
  • Liaise with CBSE officials, accreditation bodies, and educational consultants for compliance and upgrades.
  • Represent the institution at academic forums, conferences, and policy discussions.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong expertise in

    K–12 CBSE curriculum design and implementation

    .
  • In-depth understanding of

    academic audits, assessments, and NEP 2020

    .
  • Proven leadership in

    managing large academic teams and multi-branch institutions

    .
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in educational technology tools, ERP, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strategic thinker with a vision for academic excellence and innovation.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Qualification:

    Master’s Degree in Education / Curriculum Design / Educational Leadership (Ph.D. preferred).
  • Experience:

    Minimum

    15 years

    in the K–12 education sector (CBSE), with at least

    5 years in a leadership role
