Job Description

Tax planning , US accounting , Direct Taxation, Income tax We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Direct Tax Associate to support tax compliance and advisory functions. The role involves assisting in the preparation and filing of tax returns, conducting tax research, and ensuring adherence to direct tax regulations and deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and filing of income tax returns for individuals, firms, LLPs, and companies. Support in advance tax calculations, TDS compliance, and filing of various tax forms (e.g., 3CD, 3CB). Conduct research on tax laws, recent amendments, and judicial pronouncements. Assist in responding to tax notices and handling income tax assessments and scrutiny cases. Support in preparing documentation for tax audits and transfer pricing reports. Maintain accurate records of tax payments, filings, and correspondence with authorities.
