As a Digital Software Engineer Senior Analyst at Citigroup, your role involves applying your in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to the development of new techniques and processes in the digital software engineering area. You will be integrating subject matter expertise within the defined area, understanding how different areas collectively integrate within the sub-function, and contributing to the overall business objectives. Your analytical skills will be crucial in filtering, prioritizing, and validating complex material from multiple sources, while your communication and diplomacy skills will play a vital role in assuming informal/formal leadership roles within teams. **Responsibilities:** - Execute and drive mid-size feature application design and development efforts to completion, serving as a development lead on medium-scale projects. - Provide subject specific expertise and an advanced level of understanding of application programming principles to significantly influence the design and development of applications. - Analyze and troubleshoot coding, application performance, and design challenges. - Research root cause of development and performance concerns and resolve defects. - Understand the technical requirements for the solutions being built and the engineering needs throughout the system's life phases. - Demonstrate proficiency in information modeling, data structures, and algorithms. - Assist in the development of standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation to ensure application design aligns with the overall architecture blueprint. - Participate in design discussions as a Development Lead and drive design decisions based on your knowledge and experience. - Partner with industry vendors to support Digital architecture and identify partnership opportunities to increase development velocity. - Communicate progress, identify and mitigate issues/risks, and optimize processes across teams. - Proactively seek new mechanisms for visibility and align program with organizational objectives. - Assess development processes, test plans, and operations for continuous improvement. **Qualifications:** - 5-8 years in a product development/product management environment - Strong analytical and quantitative skills; Data driven and results-oriented - Experience delivering with an agile methodology - Experience in affecting large culture change - Experience leading infrastructure programs - Skilled at working with third party service providers - Excellent written and oral communication skills **Education:** - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience If you require a reasonable accommodation due to disability, you can review Accessibility at Citi for assistance in using search tools and applying for career opportunities.
