Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Operate and monitor the Konica digital printing machine for various fabric types.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine to ensure optimum performance and print quality.
Troubleshoot basic machine issues and coordinate with maintenance for technical support when needed.

Develop and maintain colour profiles for different fabrics and print heads.
Ensure accurate colour calibration and profiling for achieving consistent shade matching.
Conduct colour testing, shade matching, and maintain records of approved profiles.
Collaborate with the design and R&D team to achieve desired print output as per buyer/brand standards.

Execute printing as per approved job cards, ensuring alignment, colour sharpness, and clarity.
Conduct sample checks before bulk printing to ensure quality standards are met.
Monitor ink consumption and printing parameters for cost-effective and efficient production.
Work closely with the QA team for shade approval and bulk validation.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma / Degree in Textile Technology / Printing Technology.
3 8 years of experience in
digital fabric printing
, preferably on
Konica or similar machines
.
Hands-on experience in
Konica digital printing machines
.
Strong understanding of
colour theory, ICC profiling, and colour matching
.
Knowledge of
fabric behaviour during digital printing (cotton, polyester, blends, etc.)
.
