Digital Manufacturing Analyst

You will be responsible for executing identified initiatives using emerging IoT technological trends to develop impactful solutions at the intersection of manufacturing shopfloor processes and emerging technology. Your role will involve bringing about a data and analytics-driven digital manufacturing approach. Your key accountabilities will include identifying business requirements, conducting blueprint workshops, developing functional and technical design documents, prototyping and testing solutions, training users and stakeholders, and defining support procedures for the digital transformation of the organization. Additionally, you will be involved in collecting and processing data generated by sensors and connected devices, as well as creating "thought ware" and "point-of-view" documents related to the Internet of Things. In this role, you will collaborate with internal subject matter experts and project stakeholders, gather clear customer requirements within the project scope, document conceptual, logical, and technical architecture for projects, and act as a super user for the IoT application within the organization. You will also design and transition manufacturing processes into digital solutions, provide training to customers on new IoT solutions, and manage day-to-day incident reporting and resolution. Furthermore, you will be responsible for testing IoT solutions, identifying roadblocks and major issues hindering deployment and development, defining and executing clear tests for designed solutions, and providing feedback to vendors. Your role may also involve short-term project-based business travel and assisting in project closure with internal and external stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent exposure to IT, with 2-5 years of experience in a similar role or in the manufacturing industry/shopfloor. Experience in object-oriented programming languages and databases is desired, along with experience in working with customers to design solutions for their requirements and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Certifications in Azure, Cloud, Thingworx, or SAP are preferable. Overall, you will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation within the organization by leveraging IoT technologies and innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing processes and workflows.,
