Prepare the dialysis equipment and patient before treatment.
Assess and record vital signs and weight before and after dialysis.
Explain procedures to patients and provide emotional support.
Operate dialysis machines and related equipment.
Insert needles or catheters to access the patient’s blood.
Monitor patients throughout the dialysis process for adverse reactions.
Adjust fluid removal rates and ensure accurate documentation of treatment.
Sterilize and maintain dialysis equipment.
Ensure all machines are in proper working order and report malfunctions.
Follow infection control protocols strictly.
Maintain accurate patient records and machine logs.
Report any abnormalities or concerns to supervising medical staff.
Work collaboratively with nephrologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
Participate in staff training, quality assurance, and audits as required.
Uphold patient dignity, confidentiality, and rights at all times.
Provide high standards of compassionate care.
