Dialysis Nurse

As a Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of the dialysis procedures according to the prescription provided. Your role will involve day-to-day patient management, starting from assessing the hemodynamic status, indications of dialysis, vascular access, and any comorbid illnesses before initiating dialysis. During the dialysis procedure, you will be directly monitoring various aspects such as dialysis prescription, care of vascular access, adequacy of flow, and promptly addressing any complications. It is essential to maintain close communication with the Nephrologist, following their instructions diligently and conveying any changes in the patient's status promptly. A key part of your responsibilities will include maintaining and supervising the reprocessing of dialyzers, ensuring proper disinfection of Haemodialysis machines, and consistently checking and recording patients" vital signs. You will also play a crucial role in educating patients about their condition, treatment options, and addressing any queries they may have. Furthermore, you will oversee the entire dialysis treatment process, administer prescribed medications accurately, evaluate patients" responses to treatment, and collaborate with the Dialysis team to deliver high-quality care in a compassionate and respectful manner.
