Job Description

POSITION TITLE : DHNO / AHNO (Nursing)

DEPARTMENT : Leadership Team

REPORT TO : Head Nursing Operations

  • Duties & Responsibilities:


• Support the Head of Nursing in overall Nursing Operations, including Nursing Department growth, team skill development, talent retention, problem-solving, patient care & safety, mentoring, group academics, and publications.
• Take ownership of Direct Reporting Units metrics: Nursing satisfaction, clinician satisfaction regarding nursing care, team performance and productivity, team competence and skills improvement, and training outcomes measurement. • Implement best industry practices and ensure strict compliance with NABH documentation and standards. • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of assigned sub-units, including nursing hiring, patient care outcomes, mentoring second-line leaders, and supporting Train-the-Trainer programs. • Coordinate internal and external conferences/events related to nursing operations and education. • Ensure team well-being, professional growth, and engagement through structured developmental activities. • Oversee creation and review of customer and nursing education videos as required. • Conduct internal quality audits, prepare reports, and follow up on corrective actions. • Perform daily rounds in all direct reporting units, review case sheets, and provide on-the-job education. • Visit critical and VIP patient families daily and extend necessary support. • Attend daily meetings with the Nursing Head to discuss patient updates, cases, operational challenges, staff performance, and behavioral issues. • Participate in weekly/monthly CNEs including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and bedside teaching in both units. • Facilitate emergency para head in resuscitation training and skill-based programs. • Conduct monthly 1:1 meetings with nursing leaders, pipeline candidates, and new hires to understand team pulse, escalate issues, and follow up for resolution. • Facilitate monthly group emerging nursing leaders meeting. • Conduct monthly performance reviews of nursing leaders in the vertical. • Participate in monthly nursing meetings, clinical dashboard reviews, and other departmental forums. • Participate in quarterly Pharmacotherapy, HIC, and Surgical Committee meetings. • Plan and conduct regional (3 per year) and national (1 per year) nursing workshops.

• Qualification: DGNM / B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing
• Experience: Minimum 10 years • Skills & Attributes: Leadership skills, training & mentoring capability, strong communication skills, people management, decision-making ability, active listening, attention to detail, counseling skills, and ability to manage complex operations.
