Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for maintaining harmonious industrial relations for the smooth operation of the units, manpower planning and budgeting, contract labor management, organizational effectiveness, and welfare & employee engagement. Your role will involve developing cooperative relationships with employee unions, creating manpower plans and budgets, monitoring contractual deployment, ensuring organizational effectiveness, and engaging in welfare activities for employees. Key Responsibilities: - Developing cooperative and constructive employee relation climate - Establishing harmonious work atmosphere and industrial relations with labor unions - Resolving issues through long-term settlement & MOU - Planning periodic two-way communication with workmen & union - Prompt resolution of grievances through grievance handling systems - Creating manpower plans and budgets in line with annual business plans - Monitoring adherence to planned budgets for permanent workmen & contract labor - Compiling salary/wages, retrials & welfare budget in line with annual business plans - Monitoring and controlling contractual deployment as per budget - Developing MIS & effective analysis for further optimization of contract labor - Ensuring legal compliance of contractors - Implementing contract labor management policies with IT-enabled systems - Ensuring smooth implementation of annual grade revision process, scholarships, etc. - Closing medical check-ups for all permanent and contract workmen - Implementing reward and recognition schemes to motivate workmen - Managing the company's residential colony area for workers - Planning for allotment, shifting, and vacation of quarters - Ensuring cost-effective maintenance of the workers" residential colony - Overseeing activities at the Workmen Club "Khel Parisar" - Providing timely support to schools and hospitals as per management directive Qualifications Required: - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Ability to work in a continuous process chemical industry - Knowledge of labor laws and regulations - Experience in managing a large workforce - Proficiency in manpower planning and budgeting - Familiarity with contract labor management - Good organizational and leadership skills - Understanding of welfare and employee engagement activities (Note: Additional details of the company were not provided in the job description),
