Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented DGPS Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting differential GPS (DGPS) surveys for mapping, infrastructure, construction, or environmental projects. You will use GNSS and geospatial tools to collect, process, and report accurate spatial data.

* Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and conduct DGPS surveys in accordance with project requirements.
  • Set up and operate DGPS equipment (RTK/PPK) for high-precision geospatial data collection.
  • Establish and verify ground control points (GCPs) for aerial mapping and geodetic surveys.
  • Integrate DGPS data with GIS, CAD, or photogrammetric workflows.
  • Process raw data and apply corrections using base station or network-based RTK systems.
  • Prepare and submit accurate survey reports, drawings, and coordinate logs.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot DGPS and surveying instruments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality protocols, and data integrity procedures.
  • Collaborate with civil engineers, drone pilots, and GIS technicians during projects.

* Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 -3 years of experience in DGPS/GNSS-based survey work (RTK, PPK, static).
  • Working knowledge of Total Station, Auto Level, and geodetic instruments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with software tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Pix4D.
  • Strong understanding of coordinate systems, projections, and datum transformation.
  • Basic knowledge of drone photogrammetry and GCP placement is a plus.
  • Physical ability to work in the field, including rough terrain or variable weather.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
