DevOps Engineer/Immediate Joiner/Onsite

Job Description :Roles and Responsibilities:

● Designing and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

● Developing and managing robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar, embracing a "pipeline as code" philosophy.

● Championing automation across the software development lifecycle, from code commit to production deployment.

● Implementing and managing containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for efficient application delivery and scaling.

● Collaborating closely with development, QA, and product teams to optimize application performance, reliability, and observability.

● Driving Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response, to maintain high availability and performance.

● Identifying and implementing innovative solutions to enhance developer productivity and streamline operational processes.

● Contributing to the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and best practices in the DevOps landscape.

Qualifications:

● Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud-native applications in a public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP strongly preferred).

● Extensive experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes is essential).

● Strong expertise in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern tools (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

● Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.

● Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments and system administration.

● Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

● Demonstrable experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, New Relic).

● Familiarity with database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL databases.

● Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

● Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.

● A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with 5 to 6 years of hands-on DevOps experience.
