DevOps Engineer

Role Summary & Essential responsibilities: The DevOps Engineer is responsible for performing CI/CD and automation design / validation activities under the project responsibility of the Technical Project Manager and under the technical responsibility of the software architect. Respect internal processes including coding rules. Write documentation in accordance with the implementation made Meet the Quality, Cost and Time objectives set by the Technical Project Manager. Qualification / Requirement: Bachelor / master in engineering in Computer Science with web option CS, IT or related field Abilities: 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience as DevOps Engineer Work Experience Profile: The candidate must be an engineer with experience in server hardware break-fix and basic knowledge of Operating system. Minimum 1 year of intensive & extensive experience in profile and role and minimum 3 years in IT Industry Basic knowledge of IIS server Basic knowledge of Databases and connections Oracle, MS SQL, PL SQL, No SQL DBs. Basic SQL server queries database knowledge Build version wise source code maintenance Understanding of the Continuous Integration process and Release Management activities. Azure cloud knowledge is mandatory. Jenkins knowledge is plus Windows server and basic Linux experience. Batch/Shell/Python scripting at the intermediatory level. Good knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins is plus Understanding of server technologies Apache Tomcat, IIS. Expertise in design and development of CI / CD pipelines for automated code analysis, test automations, build & deployment automations on Cloud Azure/AWS and dedicated hosting platforms. Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible is desired. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues Passion for continuously learning and staying up to date with modern technologies and trends in the DevOps field. Project management and workflow tools like Jira Process: SVN, GIT and Bitbucket source control/configuration management tool Development methodology: AGILE (SCRUM/Kanban) Soft skills: English: good level Autonomous Good Interpersonal and communication skill Good synthesis skill Solid team player and able to handle multiple tasks and manage them time efficiently.
