Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in understanding customer requirements and project KPIs, implementing various development, testing, and automation tools, and managing stakeholders and external interfaces. Your responsibilities will also include setting up tools and required infrastructure, defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation, troubleshooting code bugs, and monitoring processes for adherence and improvement opportunities. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures, coordinating within the team and with customers, selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools, and ensuring continuous improvement in the CI/CD pipeline. You will also be involved in monitoring customer experience and KPIs, as well as providing periodic progress reports to management and customers. Key Responsibilities: - Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs - Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure - Managing stakeholders and external interfaces - Setting up tools and required infrastructure - Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation - Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs - Monitoring processes for adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement - Encouraging and building automated processes - Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures - Coordination and communication within the team and with customers - Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools - Striving for continuous improvement in the CI/CD pipeline - Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs - Managing periodic reporting on progress to management and customers Qualifications Required: - 1+ years experience as a DevOps engineer - Experience with deploying, managing, and maintaining products hosted on AWS/Azure/GCP - Experience in Linux systems administration and architecture - Experience with configuring, managing, and supporting virtual environments - Experience in configuring and managing web servers (Apache, IIS, Nginx) and web services - Experience in at least one scripting language - Good experience in Docker, Kubernetes, ELK, Nagios, Chef/Ansible/Puppet, Terraform, GitLab, etc. - Good knowledge of AWS/Azure/Jenkins CI/CD pipelines - Network knowledge (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, Load balancing) and prior network administration experience is a plus - Working knowledge of Big data analytics and streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, ElasticSearch, ELK is a plus - Good communication skills (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.)
