DevOps Engineer

As a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for streamlining software development and deployment processes, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure. Your role will involve working closely with development, QA, and IT teams to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and improve operational workflows. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. - Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. - Monitor and maintain system performance, availability, and security. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are designed with operability and scalability in mind. - Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - Implement and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar. - Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. - Ensure compliance with best practices around DevOps, security, and data protection. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or related role. - Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). - Familiarity with CI/CD tools and source control (Git). - Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). - Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools. Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator). - Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet). - Understanding of networking and security best practices. - Experience with microservices architecture.
