Senior DevOps Engineer – GCP Automation (3-Month Contract, Immediate Start)
Contract: Time & Material · Remote/India flexible
Mission: Build a fully automated GCP provisioning service that launches complete, secure customer environments in ≤ 10 minutes.
Core Duties
Terraform IaC: Modules for GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud DNS/SSL, IAM; manage state & Git.
Automation: Cloud Build / Cloud Functions workflows; Bash/Python scripts; Helm-based Node.js deployments; auto-SSL.
Security: Least-privilege IAM, RBAC, audit logging, monitoring.
Integration: Webhook endpoint, status tracking, error handling; docs & runbooks.
Must-Have
Google Cloud cert (ACE min; DevOps/Architect preferred) – include ID.
3+ yrs GCP, expert Terraform, production GKE, Bash & Python, CI/CD (Cloud Build), strong IAM/security.
Self-starter able to deliver solo on tight deadlines.
Nice-to-Have
REST APIs, multi-tenant design, Node.js, Docker, Helm.
Deliverables
Month 1: Terraform modules, working prototype, basic security, webhook.
Month 2: Prod-ready system (<10 min), full docs, knowledge transfer
