We are looking for a skilled CI/CD Engineer with strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines across on-premises and AWS cloud environments. The role requires hands-on expertise with tools such as Stash, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, and uDeploy, as we'll as proficiency in containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
The ideal candidate should have strong scripting skills using Python, JSON, and Shell/PERL in Unix/Linux environments, with the ability to automate processes and troubleshoot complex build and deployment issues. Experience in incident management and handling crisis bridges related to CI/CD pipelines is essential.
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, Agile principles, and monitoring solutions such as Datadog is expected. Knowledge of core Java, Apache, Tomcat, and AWS services will be considered an added advantage, while an AWS certification will be a strong plus. Additionally, awareness of basic investment terms and practices is desirable.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both on-premises and AWS cloud environments.
- Manage and integrate tools such as Stash, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, and uDeploy for seamless build and deployment processes.
- Implement and manage containerization solutions using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks using Python, JSON, and Shell/PERL scripting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in build, release, and deployment processes, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Lead and participate in incident/crisis bridge calls to address CI/CD pipeline and code build failures.
- Apply ITIL framework practices and Agile principles in day-to-day operations for effective collaboration and delivery.
- Monitor applications and infrastructure using Datadog, ensuring proactive issue detection and resolution.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline DevOps processes and improve delivery efficiency.
- (Good to have) Contribute to application support with knowledge of core Java, Apache, and Tomcat.
- (Good to have) Apply understanding of basic investment terms and practices in project context.
- (Good to have) Leverage knowledge of AWS core services; AWS certification is an added advantage.
Years of Experience
- 6 to 9 years of relevant experience in CI/CD pipeline development, DevOps tools, automation, and cloud environments (on-prem & AWS).
Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional):
- bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Developer) is an added advantage.
- Certifications in DevOps tools, CI/CD, or Cloud technologies will be a plus.
