Devops Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure and platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, automating, and managing scalable, secure, and high-availability systems that power our fintech applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless CI/CD, cloud infrastructure reliability, observability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless code deployment and delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm).
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with a focus on cost efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog).
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for critical systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize performance, reliability, and security of applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
• Enforce DevSecOps practices, integrating security into CI/CD and infrastructure workflows.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident management processes.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and core services (VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices deployments at scale.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, CloudFormation).
• Experience with monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, New Relic).
• Solid understanding of networking, load balancers, DNS, firewalls, VPNs.
• Scripting/programming knowledge in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and security best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and incident management skills.
