Sr DevOps Engineer:Kubernetes (Self-Managed):

• Deep expertise in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting self-managed Kubernetes clusters (using kubeadm is a plus).
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture (control plane, worker nodes), networking (CNI), and storage (CSI integration).
• Experience with Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, and managing deployments/StatefulSets.

HA/DR Principles:

• Strong Experience and Solid implementation/understanding of Recovery Point Objective (RPO) and Recovery Time Objective (RTO) concepts.
• Strong Experience and Solid implementation/understanding with active-standby, warm-standby, failover, and failback processes in a multi-site environment in datacenter world for hybrid workloads like Kuberentes and standalone servers

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Proficiency with Ansible for automated server provisioning, configuration management, and orchestration of both Linux servers and Kubernetes components.
• Experience in developing and maintaining robust Ansible playbooks and roles.

CI/CD Pipelines:

• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines mainly Azure DevOps (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools like Argo CD (or direct Kubernetes management via Ansible/kubectl).

Datastores:

• Solid implementation experience in setting and implementing datastores like Oracle, Cassadra, Kafka, Elasticsearch or Opensearch, Redis, Hazelcast, Gitea in On Premise environment.

Networking & Load Balancing:

• Solid understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewall rules).
• Experience with load balancers (HAProxy, NGINX, Keepalived) and Global Server Load Balancer (GSLB) concepts for traffic management across sites.

Monitoring, Logging & Alerting:

• Strong experience with Open Telemetry, Prometheus and Grafana for metrics collection, visualization, and dashboarding.
• Hands-on experience with centralized logging solutions (OpenSearch/Loki, Filebeat/Fluentd) for log aggregation and analysis.
• Ability to configure and manage alerting rules (e.g., Alertmanager) and integrate with notification systems.

Scripting & Automation:

• Strong scripting skills Python, Shell for automating operational tasks and integrating various tools.

Secrets Management:

• Experience with tools like Ansible Vault for secure secret management. Understanding of integrating with enterprise secrets management solutions (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk) if applicable.

Operating Systems and Security:

• Proficient with Linux, Windows administration (Ubuntu Server is preferred in Linux).
• Strong Experience and Solid implementation/understanding of security principles like RBAC SSL/TLS, Loadbalancing, Encryption in Transit, Encryption at rest etc..,
