Development Manager

What you will be doing ?

• Be responsible for team deliveries and people management
• Support, coach and lead development teams; ensure that the team's mission, goals, scope and product domain are understood by everyone
• Ensure that teams have a defined and effective way of working in regard to processes, planning, work and tooling. Help remove obstacles and clarify dependencies in order to unblock teams progress.
• Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and career development to help team members grow in their roles. Promote cross-team education, and knowledge-sharing and drive cross-team collaboration.
• Participate in the hiring process to bring new talent on board, ensuring the team continues to evolve
• Belong to the management group working on different areas with the overall goal to uphold Etraveli Technology as a great place to work.

Preferred Qualification -

• Academic degree within Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Solid understanding of an agile environment, including at least one role related to the product development process, such as, scrum master, product owner, agile coach, team lead, architect, or engineering manager.
• Strong working experience in a hands-on software development position especially if it contains multiple disciplines (example backend, frontend, database, mobile apps etc)
• Documented leadership experience with focus on building collaborative teams and results.
• Experience in executing, coordinating, planning and following up activities that span across multiple teams and departments.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in development manager role .
• Strong drive for personal and professional development
