Developer Relations Engineer

As a Developer Relations Engineer at New Relic, you play a crucial role in engaging with the developer community and promoting observability practices. Your responsibilities include: - Learning: You will be the first customer to explore New Relic's observability features and platform. - Teaching: Sharing your knowledge with peers through various mediums to create accessible content. - Coding: Developing example applications to demonstrate observability practices. - Presenting: Speaking at conferences, hosting podcasts, and writing articles on observability. - Collaborating: Building relationships with product, marketing, and sales teams to engage the engineering community. - Traveling: Joining developer conversations worldwide, with up to 25-30% of your time spent traveling. Qualifications for this role include: - 3+ years of full-time software development or DevOps/DevSecOps/SRE experience. - Experience presenting technical content at software conferences. - Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
