Overview
As a Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) in PEGA, this role is central to our enterprise automation strategy. The developer is responsible for configuring and optimizing PEGA applications to align with organizational objectives, streamline business processes, and enhance operational efficiency. By automating repetitive tasks, minimizing errors, and ensuring regulatory compliance, this role directly contributes to improved productivity and strategic outcomes across the company.
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Strategic Focus
- Managing the delivery of the project with his/her technical expertise.
- Contribution to the project with his/her skills and resolving any blockers
Operational Management
- As well as working with other developers, you will also be working alongside systems analysts, testers, architects and delivery managers to deliver quality software.
- You will be involved in the estimation of work and definition of backlog items.
- Write code and unit tests to specification.
- Perform triage of defects and track them through to technical resolution.
- Participate in daily stand ups.
- Own the code management in the team and ensure effective use of source control systems.
- Acts as a SPOC for business teams and technology teams
- Work with DevOps to ensure continuous deployment processes are achieved

- Reviewing the coding standards to comply with Infosec principles
- Resolving the system vulnerabilities using the best practices

Experience & Personal Attributes
- 3-4 years Pega experience with Pega CSSA certification
- Strong customer service framework skills
- Constellation UI and hands on Pega Infinity version
- Strong debugging skills with PLA and PDC
- Ability to proactively solve problems and work on own initiative
- Collaboration skills, and evidence of working well within a team environment.
- Have a flexible and can do attitude and be willing to be accountable for and own allocated tasks.
- Demonstrable experience in writing effective technical and business focused reports and specifications

- Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering technical solutions using Pega 8.8, especially within the Pega customer services framework for financial services.
- Demonstrate experience of channel integration including, File listeners, Email listeners, Rest API, BIX
- Understand the importance of guardrails and subsequently ensure that application compliance scores are maximised.
- Understand application architecture especially the importance of the Pega ECS and frameworks.
- Understand rulesets and ensure that they are maintained in accordance with standards.
- Participate in the development, testing, implementation, and documenting of solutions.
- A passion to mechanise manual business processes and realise efficiency savings.
