Developer II - DevOps Engineering

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and motivatedDevOps Developer to join our engineering team. This role is central to automating the installation, configuration, build, and deployment processes for software tools and applications across both on-premises and cloud environments. You will be responsible for configuring and maintaining CI\/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable delivery in an Agile setting.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement automation solutions based on DevOps tool\/component designs.Develop and maintain components for software\/tool installation, configuration, and deployment.Configure, manage, and optimize CI\/CD pipelines to support development and operations workflows.Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adapt DevOps practices for new environments and use cases.Write clean, testable scripts and maintain thorough documentation.Reuse, improve, or reconfigure existing components to create optimal technical solutions.Assist in user onboarding to DevOps tools and platforms, with support from DevOps leads.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.Document technical procedures, configurations, and best practices for future reference.Required Skills & QualificationsPrimary Skills2\u20135 years of experience in DevOps practices and tools.Hands-on experience withCI\/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.Strong scripting ability inPython, Shell (Bash), PowerShell, Groovy, or Perl .Proficiency withrepository management systems like Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, or ClearCase, including experience automating repository migrations.Working knowledge ofbuild automation tools such as Maven and NPM.Understanding ofcloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) andInfrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) .Familiarity withsoftware configuration, installation, and deployment best practices .Secondary SkillsIntegration experience withcode quality tools like SonarQube.Experience withtest automation frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or NUnit.Exposure tocloud-native tools and deployment patterns.Working understanding ofAgile methodologies andsoftware development lifecycles .Nice-to-Have SkillsBachelor\u2019s degree inComputer Science, Information Technology , or a related field.Certifications in DevOps or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Experience supportingenterprise-scale DevOps platforms or developer enablement programs.Familiarity withsecurity automation tools andDevSecOps practices .
