As a Developer: Applications at Flex, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of IT systems by providing the necessary planning, technical business expertise, and project coordination to implement, architect, design, build, test, develop software, and resolve technical business solutions that automate specific business processes. Your responsibilities will include working with stakeholders to develop business solutions, ensuring products meet customer requirements and function properly, conducting solution testing and QA, evaluating and selecting appropriate technology vendors and applications, collaborating with server or database administration for system maintenance, troubleshooting and researching codes to identify errors, collaborating with database administrators to optimize database performance, consulting with engineering staff to develop software-machine interfaces, fixing application security breaches, working closely with solution architects, maintaining and upgrading existing systems, researching and incorporating new technologies, writing and maintaining documentation, converting designs and specifications into computer code, designing and coding screen layouts and interfaces, compiling code into programs, running tests for automated execution, assisting with User Acceptance Testing, providing technical assistance, training end users, preparing technical reports and manuals, troubleshooting and providing solutions for critical incidents, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent systems experience required - 1-3 years of systems experience preferred - Knowledge of application development, procedures, utilities, and job control languages preferred - Operations and technical skills with an understanding of Flex's functional standards - Awareness of functional impact on work processes and other functions - Proficiency in Office Skills, computer languages, word processor, spreadsheet (PC), software, computer troubleshooting - Working knowledge of functional concepts and understanding of Flex policies and procedures - Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries, or functions, and understanding of interdependencies - Ability to work in teams using Software Control Repository tools (TFS, Git) - Understanding of Object Oriented Programming and SOLID principles If you are excited about contributing to innovative product development, collaborating in a respectful and inclusive environment, and growing in your career, we encourage you to apply for this Developer: Applications position with Flex in Chennai.
