Detail Engineer- R&R

Role & responsibilities

• Knowledge of designing for Boilers, Heaters (Solid, Oil/Gas fuel fired), Waste heat recovery boilers, heat recovery systems etc.
• Review/preparation of manufacturing drawings, P&ID, GATP.
• Thermal calculations, Selection of rotary equipment, valves and instrumentation etc. 
• Preparation of bill of material & its release.
• Review/approval of vendor offers & drawings and preparation of engineering part catalogues for procurement action. 
• Attending site visits/issues, OTM and participation in technical discussion with internal and external customer 
• Standardization of variants to reduce OCs to engineering.

Preferred candidate profile

• Critical Competencies for the Job:  
• Knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, & thermal engineering 
• Knowledge of different design & configuration of boilers, heaters, various combustion technology & design of combustors 
• Software knowledge of AutoCAD, Advance Excel & MS office
• Willingness to travel to site, vendor/customer place
• Ability to work in cross functional teams  
• On time delivery as per agreed timelines. 
• Engineering change control. 
• Correction of Errors in design and drawing, ability to guide draftsman. 
• Ability to analyze engineering problems 
• Effective communication skills verbal and written.
