Role & responsibilities : Knowledge of designing for Boilers, Heaters (Solid, Oil/Gas fuel fired), Waste heat recovery boilers, heat recovery systems etc. Review/preparation of manufacturing drawings, P&ID, GATP. Thermal calculations, Selection of rotary equipment, valves and instrumentation etc. Preparation of bill of material & its release. Review/approval of vendor offers & drawings and preparation of engineering part catalogues for procurement action. Attending site visits/issues, OTM and participation in technical discussion with internal and external customer Standardization of variants to reduce OCs to engineering. Preferred candidate profile : Critical Competencies for the Job: Knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, & thermal engineering Knowledge of different design & configuration of boilers, heaters, various combustion technology & design of combustors Software knowledge of AutoCAD, Advance Excel & MS office Willingness to travel to site, vendor/customer place Ability to work in cross functional teams On time delivery as per agreed timelines. Engineering change control. Correction of Errors in design and drawing, ability to guide draftsman. Ability to analyze engineering problems Effective communication skills verbal and written.
