Desktop Support Intern

You will be joining Vaibhav Global Limited (VGL), a leading electronic retailer of jewelry and lifestyle products with a turnover of ~$365 million in FY 2023-24 and employing 4,000+ people globally. As a Desktop Support Intern, your role will involve: - Assisting in troubleshooting desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues. - Providing support for operating systems, applications, and basic network connectivity. - Installing, configuring, and updating software as required. - Helping maintain IT asset records and inventory. - Supporting users with login, email, and account access issues. - Escalating unresolved issues to senior IT support staff. - Assisting in setting up new workstations and devices for employees. - Documenting common issues and solutions for knowledge sharing. Qualifications & Skills required for this role: - Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field. - Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and networking fundamentals. - Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
