Job Description:

We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer Level 1 to provide technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, and software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for resolving user issues, maintaining desktop environments, and ensuring optimal performance of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person.

- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops.

- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications.

- Assist with user account management and access permissions.

- Perform routine maintenance and updates on desktop systems.

- Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.

- Collaborate with senior support staff for escalated issues.

- Provide training and support to end-users on software applications.

Qualifications:

- Associate degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

- Basic knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.

- Familiarity with common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience:

- Previous experience in a technical support role is a plus but not required.

- Customer service experience is beneficial.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
