Key Responsibilities:
Desktop Support:
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and OS issues on Windows/macOS devices.
- Configure and deploy new systems, ensuring compliance with IT standards.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and profiles through Active Directory.
- Support enterprise software and tools including MS Office 365, VPN clients, antivirus, and endpoint protection platforms.
- Maintain and update IT asset inventory.
Network Support:
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity issues.
- Assist in the configuration and basic administration of network devices (switches, routers, access points).
- Coordinate with ISPs/vendors for resolution of connectivity issues and
performance optimization.
- Monitor network health and assist in root cause analysis of outages.
Escalation & Process Management:
- Serve as the point of escalation for unresolved L1/L2 tickets.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 0-2 years of hands-on experience in desktop and network support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic Linux/macOS troubleshooting.
- Proficient in managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
- Familiar with remote support tools ( Anydesk,Teams & Ultraviewer)
- Good understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls).
- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- A+, Network+, or Security+
