Description
As a part of Stefanini, a global provider of offshore, onshore, and nearshore IT services, you will be responsible for supporting IT equipment in a large corporate environment. This includes providing desktop/laptop tech support for both Mac and PC systems running Windows 7/10 operating systems. Your role will involve supporting a variety of devices such as mobile devices, printers, scanners, wireless equipment, VPNs, etc. Additionally, you will be involved in IMAC support, which includes installing, moving, adding, and changing IT equipment. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining and repairing IT equipment, spare parts, and components, as well as researching and troubleshooting technical problems. You will need to maintain system configurations, documentations, and track customer incidents and requests through the client's ticketing tool. Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues for Windows devices, as well as performing backup, restoration, and migration of user data will be part of your daily tasks. In this role, you will be expected to provide Smart Hands support for networking, server, and telecommunications technologies, as well as offer support for printers and peripheral devices. Managing inventory of IT assets, including asset auditing, and the ability to research and follow appropriate KB articles are essential aspects of this position. You should also be prepared to work on-call and provide after-hours support as needed, including potential executive support. To succeed in this role, you should have experience supporting Mac OS, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Smart Phones, AV Conferencing Systems, Printers, and PC hardware. Maintaining a positive attitude under stressful conditions, excellent verbal and written communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to perform in-depth research and troubleshooting for complex technical issues are crucial. Additionally, you should be able to prioritize tasks, work with minimal supervision, lift equipment up to 50 pounds, and be willing to learn new technologies.
