Design Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Project ownership: Managing multiple projects simultaneously from briefing to final delivery, ensuring high-quality standards and timely output.
• Creative direction and brand consistency: Developing visual identity, setting and enforcing design guidelines, and guaranteeing consistent use of style across all assets and platforms.
• Collaboration: Working closely with departments such as marketing, product, engineering, and directly with clients to understand business goals and translate them into effective design solutions.
• User advocacy and research: Planning and executing user research/test sessions and ensuring design decisions are user-centric.
• Presentation and communication: Leading client and team meetings, articulating design rationale, presenting concepts to stakeholders and incorporating feedback.
• Staying current: Keeping abreast of industry trends, tools, and methodologies to foster innovation within the team.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate from well-known institutes such as NID, NIFT, Srishti, or SID will be preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in visual, UI, and UX design tools and methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• A compelling portfolio showing successful project leadership and design innovation.
• Several years of design experience, with prior team or project leadership responsibilities.
