Job Profile

• Design, Engineering & Compliance:

  Prepare fire protection system designs (sprinklers, hydrants, pump room, detection system, suppression, Extinguishers Layouts etc.) as per compliance with codes and clients Provision NOC & Requirements. Ensure all drawings and designs meet statutory, regulatory, and authority approval standards. Develop detailed shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and as-built drawings in AutoCAD/Revit etc. Prepare system design calculations (hydraulic calculations, pump head calculations, pressure drop analysis, etc.) Study project specifications, tender documents, and client requirements. Use CAD, PIPENET, Microsoft Projects, and hydraulic calculation tools for accurate layouts and solutions

• Estimation & Costing:

  Analyze tender documents, project drawings, and specifications to Prepare accurate BOQ, material take-offs, and cost estimates. Source competitive quotes from suppliers/subcontractors to optimize project cost efficiency. Optimize estimation for cost-effectiveness without compromising safety or compliance. Achieve a targeted accuracy level between estimated and actual project cost.

• Compliance & Documentation:

  Ensure adherence to NFPA, FM Global, NBC, and local standards in all designs and reports. Maintain drawing registers, revision logs, and estimation records. Prepare technical reports, compliance statements, and support procurement in material/equipment selection.

• Project Execution & Support

  : Provide BOQs, estimates, and costing aligned with project specifications and approved drawings. Negotiating and Finalizing with the contractors Supervise site activities and coordinate with the Purchase Department for smooth execution.

• Tendering & Proposal Support:

  Review tender documents and highlight deviations, scope gaps, and risks. Prepare technical submissions including compliance statements, equipment data sheets, and pre-bid queries.

• Coordination & Liaison:

  Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and site teams for design-related clarifications. Attend design review meetings with clients/consultants. On site Visit for execution verification.

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Fire Protection System Design (Sprinklers, Hydrants, Pump Room, Suppression).
• Estimation & Costing (BOQs, tender analysis, material take-off).
• AutoCAD, PIPENET, Microsoft Projects, hydraulic calculation tools.
• Knowledge of NFPA, FM Global, NBC, and local codes. Project
