Design Engineer(civil)

Designation: Design Engineer

Qualification: Bachelors/Master's degree in civil/Structural Engineering

Experience: 1 to 6 years

Time Period: At the earliest

• Experience in analysis, Design & Estimation of Steel/Concrete structures. (Experience in Transmission structures will be added advantage).
• Good knowledge on design standards (Steel & Concrete codes). Experience in American Standards (AISC, ASCE) will be added advantage.
• Read/understand the customer specification and perform the designs as per the fabrication standards.
• Good knowledge on design softwares (STAAD, ETABS, STRAP). Having experience in PLS-Pole, PLS-CADD will be added advantage.
• Responsible for the least weight & least scrap (best optimized) design per the customer specification.
• Requires Co-ordination of Drawings with Detailing and good knowledge on Detailed and Erection/ Fabrication Drawings.
• Good Knowledge on Stress and Loads calculation & Structural design fundamentals.
• Requires good analytical skills and problem-solving skills.

Key skills required:

• B. Tech/MTech (Civil/Structural) with an emphasis of technical discipline.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills, along with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced multi-disciplined environment with strong attention to detail and be able contribute to the success of the team.
