- Lead the design and development of centrifugal pumps, including the execution of hydraulic calculations to optimize pump performance. - Utilize CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) tools and software to simulate and analyse fluid flow within pump systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. - Employ ANSYS for advanced engineering simulations to predict and improve the performance of pump components under various operating conditions. - Utilize CREO software for 3D modelling and design of pump components, ensuring all designs meet industry standards and company specifications. - Oversee the prototyping, testing, and validation of pump designs, making necessary adjustments based on test results and feedback. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and sales, to ensure that design objectives are met within project timelines. - Stay updated on the latest advancements in pump technology and incorporate innovative solutions into new designs. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior design engineers within the team. - Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
