Design Engineer - PLC Control Panel

• Designing electrical distribution and control panels, based on PLC / VFD and other electrical systems according to customer specifications with the help of the Project Sheet, P&ID diagrams, and project device list independently.

• Knowledge of electrical components PLC, VFD, switch gears, circuit breakers, contactors, relays, isolators, sensors, solenoid valves and various types of switches.

• Create detailed engineering drawings, schematics, BOM and layouts using AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical & E-Plan P8

• Relationship management with clients, and OEMs ensuring smooth business operations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and automation engineers to ensure integrated and efficient solutions.

• Provide technical support during the manufacturing, installation, and commissioning phases.

• Ability to handle multiple projects/customers at a time, meet customers and understand the technical aspects of projects.

• Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently, meeting customer delivery expectations.

• Jobs will be supporting/making Proposal Engineering i.e. BOQ preparation and costing of the Panels.

• Self-starter, team player, work well with others, continuous improvement and have a positive attitude. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Proficient in E-Plan and AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical must.

• Strong understanding of Electrical Codes and Standards.
