3D & 2D Drawing Engineer

Job Summary:

Junior 3D & 2D Drawing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and update

  2D engineering drawings

  and

  3D CAD models

  for components, assemblies, and layouts.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop

  detailed design drawings

  based on project requirements and specifications.
• Convert design concepts and sketches into

  accurate CAD models

  for manufacturing.
• Ensure all drawings meet company

  design standards, tolerances, and GD&T requirements

  .
• Support

  Bill of Materials (BOM)

  preparation and update design documentation.
• Work closely with

  production, quality, and procurement teams

  to resolve drawing or design-related issues.
• Perform

  design revisions

  , implement engineering change requests (ECRs), and maintain drawing records.
• Assist in

  prototype development

  and testing when required.
• Maintain organized files and ensure version control for all design documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in

  Mechanical Engineering

  ,

  Industrial Design

  , or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in

  CAD software

  such as

  AutoCAD

  ,

  SolidWorks

  ,

  CATIA

  , or

  Siemens NX

  .
• Understanding of

  manufacturing processes

  (machining, sheet metal, fabrication, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of

  Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)

  .
• Familiarity with

  material selection

  and

  mechanical design principles

  .
• Ability to read and interpret

  engineering drawings and technical documents

  .

Experience:

• 0–2 years

  of experience in design or drafting within a

  manufacturing or engineering environment

• Internship or project experience in 3D/2D modeling will be an advantage.
