Design Engineer – Lithium-Ion Battery Pack Design

Experience: 3+ Years (Mandatory)

Role Objective

Design safe, efficient, and scalable lithium-ion battery packs using pre-procured cells for multiple industrial and commercial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design lithium-ion battery packs using cylindrical, prismatic, or pouch cells
• Define series/parallel configurations for voltage, capacity, and current requirements
• Select and integrate suitable Battery Management Systems (BMS)
• Define protection logic, charge/discharge limits, balancing, and safety thresholds
• Prepare wiring diagrams, fuse/relay selection, and connector layouts
• Support mechanical and thermal design of enclosures
• Ensure compliance with IS, IEC, UL, and UN38.3 standards
• Support prototype development, testing, validation, and production transition
• Analyze failures and implement continuous design improvements

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of lithium-ion cells, BMS, SOC/SOH, and safety mechanisms
• Experience with AutoCAD / SolidWorks
• Understanding of thermal behavior and battery safety standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,968.82 per month
