Production Engineer – Lithium-Ion Battery Pack Manufacturing

Experience: 3+ Years (Mandatory)

Role Objective

Manage and control safe, high-quality production of lithium-ion battery packs for diverse applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise cell inspection, grading, matching, and traceability
• Oversee spot welding / laser welding of cells
• Manage BMS installation, wiring, insulation, and enclosure assembly
• Ensure production adherence to approved designs and SOPs
• Conduct in-process and final testing (voltage, capacity, IR, charge/discharge cycles)
• Maintain production, quality, and test documentation
• Enforce lithium-ion safety, storage, and fire prevention protocols
• Train and supervise shop-floor technicians
• Improve productivity, reduce scrap/rework, and support scale-up production

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in lithium-ion battery pack assembly and testing
• Knowledge of battery manufacturing tools and safety practices
• Ability to manage technicians and shop-floor operations
