Role & responsibilities:

• Responsible for development / localization of Products for Oil & Gas, Energy and other Business segments including Pumps and Pump Packages.
• Develop & Localize products like API pumps like BB2, BB3, BB5, VS1, VS4 and VS6 pumps required for oil & gas and petrochemical industry. Also, develop and localize multi-stage pumps for boiler feed water applications required in the Energy segment.
• Owner of Product development activity & must drive Project to ensure activities are completed on time, meeting all requirements, including cost, quality & performance targets to support project plans & project execution.
• Serve as Primary product expert for assigned products Independently & Provide product management related support for all departments, mainly TSS / Sales, Production, QM, Customer Service and Purchase.
• Prepare & evaluate product variable cost and highlight actions to maintain margins.
• Knowledge of various industry standards like API 610, ISO 2858/5199, EN799, HIS, ASME.
• Provide support & technical inputs for introducing new products on Selection software / other digital tools or maintaining existing ones.
• Conduct technical trainings to Sales and have close Interaction with Vendors/Suppliers to resolve product specification queries.
• Prepare & release product documents and literature during product release and ensure that the literature is updated periodically.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and UG
• Knowledge of SAP MM & PP modules
• Knowledge of ASME and API standards
• Experience of handling Engineering activities for API pumps
