Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Work Experience 6 to 8 years of experience in Value Engineering, Component engineering of electro mechanical products. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Core Responsibilities:

Expertise on VAVE concept and have good experience in handling VE projects. Must have completed minimum 3 major VE savings projects. Hands on working knowledge of Siemens NX 3D CAD software Team Centre. Hands on experience in New Product Design Development (NPI/NPD) of electro-mechanical products. Good knowledge in diecasting, plastics sheet metal component design development. Good Knowledge on the Seal designs, IP ratings and rubber seal materials. Good knowledge on material selection for the parts based on application. Must have experience in working with Global teams and communicating with them technically. Good knowledge on GDT, tolerance stack-up analysis, dimensions, and structural analysis. Knowledge on the Engineering Change Notification process for design changes. Ensure design of components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards. Establish and support knowledge-sharing networks throughout the HARTING Technology Group to promote collaboration and innovation. Work closely with cross functional teams to drive VAVE initiatives.

General Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, , or a related field Extensive knowledge of VAVE. Proficient in project management, capable of planning and executing projects related to the development of plastics and rubber materials. Strong communication skills, high self-motivation, and the ability to organize independently. A passion for innovation and a strong drive for finding new solutions, combined with a global mindset. Willingness to undertake occasional business trips lasting several days. A solid awareness of cost considerations. Fluent in English
